Harvard theoretical physicist Lisa Randall is a leader in the fields of particle physics and cosmology, and is especially renowned for her work on extra dimensions. In 2004, she was the most cited theoretical physicist of the previous five years. In 2005, the New York Times included her book, Warped Passages: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Universe's Hidden Dimensions, in its 100 Notable Books of the Year. This year, Randall was included in the Time 100, Time's list of the most influential people in the world.
