Jonathan Lethem is the author of seven novels, one novella, two short-story collections, and a volume of essays. Known for defying traditional genre conventions, Lethem instead mingles them to achieve a distinct and original voice in American fiction. His novel Motherless Brooklyn won the National Book Critics Circle Award, and in 2005 he received a MacArthur genius grant. Lethem's new novel, You Don't Love Me Yet, is a romantic farce set against the worlds of art and rock music in contemporary Los Angeles.
