Lynn Hershman Leeson is an artist whose works span photography, film, video, performance, and installation. Her artwork has been shown at more than 200 major institutions and is part of the permanent collection at New York's Museum of Modern Art. In 2005, University of California Press published The Art and Films of Lynn Hershman Leeson, which places her at the forefront of contemporary art. A professor emeritus at UC Davis, and A.D. White Professor-at-Large at Cornell, Hershman Leeson's newest film is the story of bio-artist Steve Kurtz.
