Writer and director Michel Gondry won a 2005 Academy Award for the original screenplay Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Lauded for his inventive visual style, Gondry started out making music videos and his 1994 Levi's commercial is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most award-winning commercial of all time. Gondry's most recent film, The Science of Sleep, premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and chronicles one man's inability to discern dreams from reality.
